On Friday night (our last night with Weysa in Germany) we went to Weysa's girlfriend Duffy's house, a huge home in the country complete with horses! We had a BBQ at Duffy's with all their soccer teammates and ate all kinds of meat, and they drank multiple bottles of beer, while we watched of course! (But seriously, we really don't like the taste of beer..eww!)
Duffy let us ride the horses around her house while we waited for their friends to come!
On Saturday, Kiana's grandparents picked us up from Weysa's home in Werther, Germany and we began our drive to France!
We stayed the night in Hidelberg, Germany and walked along the river and visited this castle!
On the way we stopped at small rest stops for a picnic lunch on the roadside.
On Sunday we stopped in Lusanne and Geneve, Switzerland! And had dinner in Geneve at a very nice restaurant. We've been eating most of our meals outside, which has been so pretty!
Finally, after some hotel trouble outside of Switzerland we finally made it to Saint Chely, France! Alice made us all crépes that were delicious! We said our good byes and thank you's to Honey and Steen for driving us (they are now headed to Sweden) and Alice and her friends took us to the river to swim! However it was very cold, and reminded us of the creeks in Oregon.
We had dinner with Alice's family and ended the day by going to a pub with Alice and her friends!
